 The Brookline Police Department is pleased to report that crime in the first half of 2017 is down 4%. Violent crime is down 14% and property crime is down 1%. Brookline is experiencing the lowest level of crime we have seen in over 20 years.  Our Mid Year report is coming soon...  In the meantime, click below to read our 2016 Year End Report

2016 Police Department Awards

Kristin Healy was recently recognized as the 2016 Police Officer of the Year, Officer Tim Stephenson was awarded the 2016 Police Department Public Service Medal and Officers Sean Williams, Joseph Amendola and Kristin Healy received a Commendation Medal for receiving their 5th commendations for excellent police work.
